How the referral program works

The Wolferdawg IT Consulting referral program rewards anyone who introduces us to a qualified business that becomes a managed services client. Two reward options exist so the program fits whoever you are.

Cash referrals work for most people. Service credits work for accountants, attorneys, bankers, and other professionals whose ethical rules restrict accepting cash referral fees.

Cash referral

Up to 10% of revenue

Paid quarterly for the first 12 months of the referred client's managed services agreement. Based on actual revenue collected, not projected. If the client cancels, payments stop. No cap on the number of referrals you can send.

Best for clients, friends, chamber contacts, and most professional relationships.

Service credit

$500 per closed referral

Redeemable for IT consulting or security review services within 12 months of the referred client's signing. A clean alternative when professional rules make cash referrals awkward.

Best for accountants, attorneys, bankers, insurance agents, and other regulated professionals.

Who qualifies as a referral

A qualifying referral meets three conditions. Wolferdawg IT Consulting maintains a minimum threshold for all new managed services clients, which means the referral floor matches the company's standard intake policy.

New, first-time client

The referred business has not previously been a client of Wolferdawg IT Consulting.

Meets the minimum

Signs an agreement with at least five devices on the Shield plan or five users on the Defend plan.

Names you as the source

Identifies you as the referrer during the initial consult. This prevents ambiguity about who sent the client.

How to send someone our way

Three ways to make a referral. Use whichever fits the relationship.

1. Email or call

Point them to wolferdawg.io and ask them to mention your name when they reach out. Send us a heads-up text or email so we can match the introduction.

How referral credit is earned. This form creates the record of the introduction. Referral credit is earned when the prospect names you as the source during their initial consult with Wolferdawg IT Consulting. Submissions where the prospect does not identify you as the referrer are kept on record but do not qualify for payment.

Referral program questions

Send us a qualified business referral in Lawton, Duncan, or Southwest Oklahoma. If the referred business signs a managed services agreement with at least five devices on the Shield plan or five users on the Defend plan, you earn up to 10 percent of managed services revenue paid quarterly for 12 months, or a $500 service credit per closed referral for accountants, attorneys, and other professionals.

A qualifying referral is a new, first-time client of Wolferdawg IT Consulting who signs a managed services agreement with at least five devices on the Shield plan or five users on the Defend plan, and who identifies the referrer as the source during the initial consult.

Cash referral payments are sent quarterly within 30 days of the quarter close, for up to the first 12 months of the client relationship. Payments are based on revenue actually collected during each quarter, which means if the referred client cancels service before the 12-month window ends, payments stop at that point. Service credits work differently. They become available immediately when the referred client signs and remain redeemable for 12 months regardless of what happens with the client afterward.

Many regulated professions restrict accepting cash referral fees. The $500 service credit option exists specifically for these situations. It is redeemable for IT consulting or security review services within 12 months of the referred client signing, with no cash changing hands.

No cap. Every qualified referral that signs earns the full reward. Some referrers send one business a year, others send three or four. Both are appreciated.

Yes, if total payments to you in a calendar year reach $600 or more. Wolferdawg IT Consulting issues a 1099-NEC at year end as required by federal tax rules. Service credit referrals do not generate 1099 forms.
